Born and raised in Chicago, I have had a different route into IT than most. I was never very fascinated with computers as a kid; I would mostly get on to play flash games. It wasn’t until I built my own computer and started studying networking that I fell in love with the organization and structure of computer systems. Now the only thing I follow more closely than technology is Chicago sports!

Outside of work I try to disconnect from the technological world. I’ll spend my time bouldering, running, reading, or playing board games (every game should have Catan style trading).
